The flat rate repair for the Motorola MC3090R covers most major components in the device.  In some cases, a device may be a total loss or not salvageable.  In that case, we will quote a replacement unit.  When three or more components are determined to be compromised- or broken, the device is typically considered not salvageable.  For example, if an MC3090 arrives and the Display, CPU, and Scan Engine are broken, the device will typically be considered to be not salvageable.  Very rarely do we see three main components malfunction- UNLESS ITS BEEN HIT BY A FORKLIFT.

The replacement parts have a 90 day warranty.

The Motorola MC3090 is a lightweight, ergonomic, rugged mobile computer available in three different form factors.   Gun, Straight, or Rotating head (Laser).  The MC3090 has a crisp 320 x 320 resolution display, available in color or Monochrome.  With an 802.11 b/g radio the MC3090 has the ability to keep production flowing smoothly with real time connections. The MC3090 is available with keyboard options including 28, 38, and 48 keys.

Although many of it’s applications are seen in the retail environment, the rugged design and IP54 rating make it a great solution for warehousing and manufacturing environments.  It’s been designed to withstand multiple 4ft drops to concrete and up to 500 tumbles.  Whoa!  That’s a lot of tumbles.
